Branch of the Kazan State Technological University named after A.N. Tupolev
In 1993 for the purpose of training of qualified engineering personnel was opened Elabuga branch of KSTU named after A.N. Tupolev. The training started for two special subjects: «Economy and management in industry» and «Combustion engines». Further there were added training for the following schools: «New materials technology», «Mechanical engineering» and «Information systems in technology». Currently in KSTU branch study 1553 people and more than 400 people are related to the association (they are ELAZ employees or their children). Distant education according to accelerated program was organized for promising employees of the association.
During the whole time of the branch existence OJSC «PA ELAZ» and the university are having partnership relations. Branch management efficiently decides all issues of changing the specialty of educating programs towards the needs of association. ELAZ in its turn gives every support in organization of educating process and encourages students for good quality study. «ELAZ» scholarships for excellent students and conditions for practical training in association subdivisions were organized from the very beginning of educational process. The enterprise partially pays education of promising employees of the association and their children as well as concluded agreements on job placement.
